Halfway to the next festival in October, entries are now open for the 13th Primanima, and on this occasion we are delighted to announce that ISBN+ will be hosting the first Primanima event of the year. Our guest for the evening is Nikita Diakur, the brilliant and sensitive animator of chaotic moments of everyday reality, who will introduce us to his 3D simulation and filmmaking methods. Before his masterclass, you can watch the award-winning international animated shorts from the previous edition of the festival.

Tickets for the screening are only available at ISBN+ during opening hours or just before the screening. You can also register online by using the form below, but please arrive on time as tickets registered but not purchased will be cancelled 15 minutes before the screening and tickets are sold in order of appearance. To be on the safe side, pop into ISBN+ one of these days and get your tickets early, because your registration does not guarantee your seat.

19.40 - 21.00 Ugly Dynamics - Nikita Diakur masterclass

Nikita Diakur is a Russian-born filmmaker based in Germany, known for using unconventional computer simulation methods to depict everyday activities. His films Ugly, Fest, and backflip have been shown at international exhibitions and festivals, earning several awards. In addition to filmmaking, he conducts lectures and workshops and has participated in the Artists-in-Residence program at Q21 in Vienna. He is also a member of the European Film Academy.
