The 90-minute animation workshop for children, teenagers and high school students offers a wide variety of techniques to try out and learn. In our animation Funzone, we make animations with drawings, puppets, clay, Lego and paper cut-outs with each other and our instructors.
Participants can design and direct their first animated short film. Traditional craft techniques will be combined with digital 2D-3D computer-based techniques. The Funzone is professionally equipped with Apple computers, cameras, film lights and trick tables. Our instructors and animators run popular creative sessions every Thursday and Friday at BABtér. However, the tools remain in the background as the focus is on the children, who are encouraged to unleash their creative potential. Animation is a range of activities that includes drawing activities, but also filming without drawing, such as Lego animation. It is also suitable for children who like to draw, but also for those who are less fond of pencils and brushes, but who have boundless imagination.
Both individual skills and group competences are addressed, as the animations can also be made in groups. In the workshops, the animations will be accompanied by sound recordings, so that music and sound effects will also be studied. A wide selection of picking and percussion instruments are available in the BABtér: guitar, bass guitar, saz, cajon, darbuka, ukulele, harmonica, kalimba, rainstick, didgeridoo, doromb, percussion gardon, midi keyboards, music software.
Our instructors also speak English, so children who are native English speakers or speak English are welcome to join us.
If you're a parent and you're not sure if this is the right class for your child, why not sign up for a free trial session first?
